Snow on the roads again this morning with about 5cm overnight and snow is presently falling in Shiga Kogen and looks set to hopefully continue throughout the day. It's not as cold this morning, and only a light wind and so with the new snow it is a good time to be out on the slopes here - which are at times almost deserted at the moment.

More snow for tomorrow it looks like but there is a chance of decent weather over the weekend as the forecast currently stands.

Come on a weekday like today at the moment and if you avoid the school trips you will have the slopes almost to yourself. That will of course change over the next few days and this weekend as Christmas approaches, but conditions here at the moment are well worth checking out - even if the snow depths are still not that deep yet.
