Hello and it's another cold and snowy morning in Shiga Kogen.

We got a few clearer patches yesterday but generally the winter conditions continue, and perhaps getting less so later on in the day today.

Interesting comments from the Yokoteyama-Shibutoge resort area... they usually open until towards the end of May of course, but they have mentioned that with more snow than usual this year the season may be longer, perhaps into June. They even mentioned July! Depending on snow of course. Take that as gossip, not 'news'.
