Good morning and it's a much colder morning in Shiga Kogen. It started to get colder yesterday as the day moved on and snow did fall. Yey! This morning we have some snow remaining on the roads and with the colder temperatures it does feel more winter-y.

But the fact is that we are in April now and today is the last day of the season for a number of lifts and resort areas (see previous report) and we'll bring you a 'what's still open' round-up in tomorrows report. You'll note though that some areas hope to be open well into May, so a long way to go yet if you want to have some spring sliding in Shiga Kogen.

Earlier on it was a bit clearer as more cloud has moved in - just generally cloudy at the moment but quite bright with it.

Just a bit of news about 'nighta'. From now the only nighta at the Shiga Kogen resorts is as follows:
