There's been snow this morning almost to village level! It has settled on the slopes above about 600m. The colder air moved through in the afternoon yesterday preceded by a few thundery showers. Snow showers should persist throughout today and tonight up higher. Wednesday will see another band of precipitation and snow should fall on the upper part of the mountain. More snow is forecast up high over the weekend.
Great to see some of the white stuff on the slopes this morning and hopefully it won't be long now before it reaches down to village level.
