Light snow continued through much of yesterday and the winds didn't pick up to fairly late in the evening. Overnight though gale force winds and snow hit the region and it's not that easy to tell exactly how much snow fell due to the amount of drifting. The winds are still strong this morning and all but the lowest lifts will likely be on hold for much of the day. There's been drifting of up to 2m on higher lee slopes and in exposed areas all the recent fresh snow has likely been stripped away. Avalanche danger is very high and slides have been reported by ski patrol even within the resort boundary. Conditions are expected to moderate later today.
Snowfalls are expected to continue through Monday night and then fine up on Tuesday. So not the best day today but once the winds ease and the lifts can open once more there's going to be a lot of fresh tracks to be had around the mountain. The snow though will not be the super light, fluffy stuff as it will be very wind affected a little more compacted. It'll depend on how much snow continues to fall once the winds have abated.
