Well, not the most exciting of reports this morning.

I don't have any new snowfall to report, only a very mild temperature and news of horrid, wet rain. Yes, I know rain is always wet but I thought I'd just emphasise that! It's a shockingly warm +6 degrees right now and the rain that we got overnight looks set to continue through the day. Grand Hirafu have wiped out 20cm from the base snow depth this morning.

Oh dear. I want my snow! So where is it then? Thursday onwards perhaps. One day at a time!

Not many people probably even want to get out skiing or snowboarding today, but even if they did they might well find a few lift-related problems - due to strong winds. I would settle for doing something else today to be honest.

So in happier but non snow related news, a hot topic around town is the opening of the new 'Supermarket & Deli' in Hirafu, which will certainly be a popular place for people to pick up their everyday goods. Including cheese.
