Well, here we are. The last day of the season in Niseko. Can't quite believe it. I'll post a bit of a wrap up and closing comments for the season tomorrow but for today let's just look at the skies and see if people can get out there and enjoy themselves....

And the answer to that is, yes! There is some white cloud up there, but lots of blue sky and it should be a fine day. Right now the rain we were told might be here seems far away, so we might get away with the day like it is now, which would be a good end to the season. Lots of patches of ground on show on increasing areas of the lower parts of the resorts now, so I don't think they would have been able to stay open much longer anyway as things warm up and it quickly continues to melt away. Thoughts seem to be turning to summer anyway for most people, if they haven't already! There's still some out there though enjoying those last runs of the season.
