Here we are at another Friday - where do the weeks go? We must be nearly half way through the season now. Remember, the lifts move here in Niseko through until the end of Golden Week, Wednesday 6th May, weather and snow conditions permitting. I must admit, reports-wise I prefer the first half though later season does have it's own appeal. It's much too early to talk about that though...

How about today. I don't have any fresh snowfall to report and we welcome another day when you should get to see some views. Actually it has been getting more cloudy now than it was earlier on but the forecast says generally fine and a clearer afternoon. It's a cold morning after a very cold night so wrap up well and it should be a fun day.

All areas set to open as normal along with peak gates.

Let's look ahead towards fresh snowfall. During the day time tomorrow we might get a bit more sunshine and it'll warm up slightly, but it's still looking like the snow should start falling later on in the day or night and set in to continue through well into next week. Yay! Looking good for a light and bouncy heap of fresh powder to play in.

I believe tomorrow and Sunday is the last chance for the early morning gondola thing at Niseko Village if you want to try that out.
