It snowed 400cm over night. Whoops, no it didnt - if you believe that then you probably believe in a large rotund guy in a red and white entourage that loiters around on peoples roofs - sometime around 3 or 4 days after the winter solstice every year.

It did snow though - a nice change from the spartan attitude of these supposed-to-be snowy mountains of recent days. There's about 35cm on the floor outside with moderately stormy conditions - and just to prove me wrong on the 'moderately' a gale has just whipped around outside and blown a bunch of chairs over. All the gondolas are closed at Naeba including the transport hub (The 'Dragondola') to Tashiro, and in fact Kagura in its entirety is closed today.

Looks like this storm is settling in for the next day or so, so here we go, better get busy and dust of those snow scoops and shovels.
