Not all the resorts have reports in, but I wanted to get a report out early so people can get out there and on the snow. Of which there is a lot (interesting grammar, I know).

It's sunny again today, but the word is the next cycle of snow is on the way. Our forecast here isn't showing it yet, but there have been a few reports on the TV that wmight see an "historic" snowfall on the 1st... That's exciting, but it can also mean transportation troubles and delays in all kind of ways. No complaints, mind you, just a little reality. The risk of avalanches also grows, of course, when you have a whole lot of new snow falling very fast (and an increased chance of just getting bogged down if you're not a great powder skier—sometimes even if you are!).

Could be an exciting start to 2015, in any case!
