After a genuinely bad afternoon yesterday, with heavy rains and wind (and wind all day, really), it's cooled down a bit. Good, because that wind really chewed away at our snowpack. You'll see that reflected in some of the ski area's reports; others are still showing little change over the past two weeks, and we must question their methods. At our checking area, just below Kanko, the total is now at 135cm.

We are defintiely in the spring skiing season, before the resorts (mostly) close in just over a week.

Lots of reduced lift operations, some special ticket prices, too.
