Beautiful weather over the last week and things have really warmed up. The clear conditions look likely to continue over the weekend too and probably into next week as well.

There's still a lot of snow up top but it's all quickly melting now.

Tanigawa Tenjindaira is of course the only ski resort that remains part open in the area and they plan to be open for skiing/boarding until at least the end of Golden Week (Wednesday 6th) and possibly a bit beyond... undetermined right at the moment. Basically it will depend on the snow.

The Tenjin Toge pair lift is now open once again with a some snow walls on either side... it's on it's lower 'summer setting' now ready for the tourist season.
