This morning is almost a carbon copy of yesterday morning. Clear skies, the sun out and after a cold night it is quickly starting to warm up with a high of around 12 degrees likely in the village later on this afternoon.

After this run of clear days we can expect things to start changing tomorrow with more cloud and then after that we need to be prepared for the prospect of rain - even higher up the mountains - on Friday and maybe even into Saturday. It should stay warm though and then the sun should be back with us on Sunday, according to the latest local forecast.

Official snow depths and operations @ Wednesday 6th April AM:

Hakuba Goryu:
The upper slopes at Goryu plan to be open until 8th May.

In addition, the Grat Quad also plans to be moving on Saturdays, Sundays and also from 29th April until 5th May. You can still ride down to the base Gondola station as there is still good snow cover.
