We have received 25cms over night and it is still snowing lightly with great visibility on the slopes. Winds are light out of the north and temperatures are cool but pleasent. The piste is soft packed groomed or powder. crowds are moderate, yet no long lines to talk of. All in All great conditions for the week

Avalanche advisery:

With 45cm of new in the back bowls over the last 3 days we can expect to see some slides in the new layer of snow. The instability in the new snow will produce some loose slides and there is a possibility in slab avalanches sliding on the melt freeze crust that was created 5 days ago with warm temps. The wind slabs of last week have been settling and bonding together slowly but surely. There is less chance now of slides generating from these lower wind slabs but still a possibility in steep chutes and on steep open slopes under rock bands or trees where faceting may have occured around the wind crusts.

Considerable. Natural avalanches possible. Human-triggered avalanches probable.

Considerable. Natural avalanches possible. Human-triggered avalanches probable.

Below Tree line:
Moderate. Natural avalanches unlikely. Human-triggered avalanches possible.
