I bring good news! Resorts around the village reporting up to 20cm of new snowfall up top this morning - and it's definitely colder than it was yesterday, which ended up being a pretty wild one. The strong winds are still with us though and still affecting lift operations.

Right now it is about +1C in the village and, for example, Hakuba 47 resort is reporting -8 degrees up at the top there. So it is feeling much more wintery again and great to see snow on the ground down to village again, and it is continuing to snow. More please!

It's looking encouraging for the next few days as well actually with snow likely each day up until Saturday, and then skies clearing up in time for Sunday. So it looks like a fine weekend is on the cards.
