Good morning from Hakuba.

It is a beautiful morning here. Blue skies all around and the sun is out from the start of the day. It looks a lot less hazy and clearer too. Nice.

Today won't be quite as warm as it has been, but it's forecast to get warmer once again from tomorrow and into next week.

Expect a lot of sunshine along with calm and settled conditions.

More patches of ground are getting noticeable now on lower areas, but still very good snow cover I would say (and excellent higher up) as we approach the end of the month.

Many lower parts of Hakuba Happo-one are now not skiable - though there is a lot of snow and still a large area of that resort open. See below for more info.
