A fairly cold start to the day with lots of cloud but they have been clearing up over the last hour or so and there is now a fair bit of blue sky to be seen now over the village. Looks like it is going to be a fine though somewhat hazy looking day.

Temperature dropped to about -3C overnight but will rise to perhaps around 8 or 9 degrees later on today. All is calm and there's not much of a wind at all.

That all looks set to change later on tomorrow though. The forecast is telling us to expect decent snowfall and stormy like conditions. It might all start off with rain down in the village but after that the rest of the week looks set to be colder and hopefully snowy as well.
