Good morning from Hakuba.

That rain yesterday morning down at base... snow was falling in the afternoon! While it didn't end up giving me any cm to report, it was still fun to see snow falling in Golden Week.

Happo-one was yesterday afternoon reporting 5cm of fresh snowfall up on the open Usagidaira slopes.

Nice!

It was cold and winter-like yesterday and it's a chilly start to the day today but it should be warming up to mid teens and a bit higher tomorrow. It's a mix of calm looking cloud, blue sky and sunshine.

Various events going on for Golden Week. One of them being the 'First Track Event' at Happo-one.... today, tomorrow and then on 3rd and 4th May they will be opening from 6am-7am. (That'll be 500 yen).
