Some more snow since yesterday and resorts reporting around 10cm of fresh on upper slopes with just a thin layer down below. There is a lot of cloud hanging around the mountains but also patches of blue sky on view behind the clouds in places and clear skies directly above the village. I would say it is going to be a fine day and the local forecast is saying sun and so perhaps we can expect those clouds to move on.

The snow we have had means that conditions for those getting out there are good.

Fine weather for the next few days is likely along with milder temperatures.

The Gondola at Tsugaike has been closed for a while but will be re-opening and operating again from tomorrow.
