It looks like it is going to be a pretty nice day today in Hakuba. More fresh snow up high once again overnight with Goryu reporting 5cm of fresh powder on upper slopes. The sun was shining brightly this morning but a few clouds have rolled in and now it is a little overcast.

The clouds are a high and not rain clouds (luckily) and so the visibility and temperatures for skiing should be ideal.

Snow conditions are going to be slushy spring snow, hard pack groomers and chopped crud out there today, with better conditions higher up with the fresh falls overnight. Be aware of possible glide cracks and holes out there if you are popping off piste as the snow pack is melting and getting thinner in spots.

Light snow expected for tomorrow and into next week, so the conditions may improve a little with some fresh snow.

Enjoy the nice spring conditions out there!
