Clear, blue skies over Hakuba for Christmas Day yesterday. By about 10am any of the clouds that were hanging about had gone leaving us with spectacular views of the mountain.

The sun is out early again this morning with only some very thin wispy cloud up there amongst the blue.

We may not have new snowfall over the last few but it is nice and cold this morning, though forecast to warm up during the day to maybe about 4 degrees in the village. Fingers crossed it keeps cold on mountain to help keep the snow conditions.

Snow is due to be falling later on today and the next few days should see temperatures drop considerably.

That quad lift over at Happo-one that I mentioned in the report yesterday managed to get back up operating from around 2:30pm yesterday.
