Yesterday felt really, really warm. Probably because it was! The sun was out and it remained bright and sunny even as more cloud appeared as the day went on.

It's a more subdued kind of bright this morning. There's more cloud around this morning but it is still sunny and fine weather is forecast.

Temperatures are set to get warmer still over the coming week with mostly fine similar weather conditions forecast.

Lots of folk surprisingly still in their winter gear, though I'm not sure all those layers are needed now... I certainly have switched to more spring-like gear, not keen on being too hot out there myself. It was fairly chilly earlier this morning but will quickly once again warm up.

Have a great weekend.

Official snow depth numbers and planned operations. Subject to change:

Hakuba Goryu:
Top area of Hakuba Goryu plans to be at least part open until Sunday 10th May.
You can still (just about) ski down to gondola base using the Toomi area on a thin strip of snow.
The 'Expert Course' is now closed.
The following lifts remain open:
- Hakuba Goryu Telecabin Gondola
- Alps Number 1 pair lift
- Alps Number 3 pair lifts

** Official snow depth:
Alps Daira - 175cm
Toomi - 30cm

---

Hakuba 47:
Hakuba 47 plans to be at least part open until Wednesday 6th May.
Currently all open (top to bottom) apart from a small lower part of R7.
Tree Riding Zone now closed for the season.
The following lifts remain open:
- Gondola
- Pair lift Line AB
- Quad lift Line C
- High speed pair Line E

** Official snow depth:
Upper - 155cm
Lower - 40cm

---

Happo-one:
Happo-one plans to be at least part open until Sunday 10th May.
The top area of the resort remains open - all lower areas now closed, so you need to take the Gondola back down.
The following lifts remain open:
- Adam Gondola
- Alpen quad
- Usagidaira pair
- Kurobishi Number 2 quad
- Kurobishi Number 3 pair (* weekend and from 29th April until 6th May)

The Kokusai Number 1 pair and Saka Kita One quad lifts are also operating this weekend and then again from Wednesday 29th until Wednesday 6th May. They are effectively acting as 'get you there' lifts to relieve some of the pressure from the Gondola.

Happo starts it's 'yuki asobi' (play in the snow) event from today and that will go on until 10th May when the ski resort closes. Sakka Kitaone Quad is open for that; snowshoeing, snowrafting, snowsleding and Kitaone Onsen also open. The onsen is located in between Indian Summer Café & Happo Banks. The Onsen, Indian Summer Cafe & Sakka Kitaone Quad lift only will be operating until 31st May 2015 (with the snow activities finishing on 10th May).

** Official snow depth:
