Good morning from Hakuba on this late January morning.

Oh hold on... it's late March! I was over at the base of Hakuba 47 just earlier on and it didn't feel like late March over there with snow falling and cold temperatures.

I like it. :)

Here's what the resorts are reporting in terms of fresh snowfall:

Hakuba 47: 10cm
Hakuba Goryu: 5cm lower slopes, 15cm upper slopes
Hakuba Happo-one: 5cm
Hakuba Cortina: 5cm

So another fresh blanket of snow, though we can't expect it to continue for much longer, so forecasts say. (Yahoo weather - not exactly my go-to! - even has sun lined up).

Whatever, looks like the sun should be out for tomorrow so visitors for the weekend will be looking on with excitement today.

Limited visibility by the looks of most webcams this morning.
