Good morning from Hakuba.

It was a shame to see that precious fresh snow we got get washed away (at least down in the village) by rain yesterday morning. But by later afternoon we saw some blue sky though it remained mostly cloudy.

The only fresh snow I can see being reported this morning is 1cm by Happo-one at their top gondola station.

This morning there is a lot of cloud around. Some light snow falling in places I am told, but some sun shining through the cloud in others and generally clearing seems to be what we should expect.

Clearer skies are forecast for later and certainly from tomorrow through next week. We are going to be enjoying a lot of clear and sunny skies if the forecasts are correct. It is also going to be getting warmer as the days go on and particularly warm in the middle of the week.
