Yesterday kept pretty cold out on the mountains in Hakuba, with the temperature not really venturing into positive numbers even mid to upper resort areas.

It's already warmer this morning and about 10C as we approach 10am and it will be warming up further.

Blue skies earlier on, but it has greyed over in the last couple of hours and a bit duller now. Cloudier conditions are forecast and then tomorrow we can expect some rainfall in Hakuba.

Official snow depths and operations @ Tuesday 23rd April 2013 AM:

Hakuba Goryu:
The following lifts planned to be operating until May 6th - Gondola, upper Number 1 and Number 3 pair lifts. Official snow depths:
Alps daira - 155cm;
Toomi - 0cm

Hakuba 47:
The following lifts planned to be operating - Gondola, Line AB, C and E.
Official snow depth:
Upper - 120cm
Lower - 30cm

Happo-one:
The following lifts plan to be operating - Gondola, Alpen quad, Kurobishi Number 2 quad, Kurobishi Number 3 pair, Hakuba Kokusai Number 3 pair, Panorama pair, Skyline Number 2 pair, Grat quad, Usagidaira pair (Golden Week only)
Official snow depth:
Usagidaira - 135cm
Lower - 0cm

Tsugaike Kogen:
The following lifts planned to be operating - Gondola, Ropeway, Tsuga Number 2 pair, Hannoki pair.
Official snow depth:
Upper slopes - 170cm
Lower slopes - 0cm

Hakuba Iwatake Snow Field, Hakuba Sanosaka, Hakuba Cortina and Hakuna Minekata resorts are now closed for the season.
