Cloudy this morning. Sunny periods this afternoon are forecast and it might rain tonight. As for temperatures - they will rise to around 13C at the highest, 5C at the lowest. The wind might not be strong today, so today would be a good skiing or sightseeing day, but remember to take your jacket because of sudden weather changes on the mountains.

Avalanche warning:

It is Spring conditions and the snow pack has warmed up significantly over the last 2 weeks causing large cracks to open and many areas to release to ground. This will persist until all snow either fails and falls or it melts and sends copious amounts of snow melt water to the valleys and rivers below. With water transport in and under the snow pack slopes of over 20 degrees have the ability to release. Be very cautious in deep valleys below large loaded and cracking slopes and around cornices, especially in periods of strong solar radiation or rain. It is at these times that water transport and snow temperature is increased and so also avalanche hazard.
