Sorry for the late report today.

Well, the snowy conditions continue in Hakuba and the constant topups means that tracks are quickly being filled in making for excellent conditions all round. It doesn't get much better than this!

Wondering when we might next be able to see the mountains and some blue sky? It's looking like tomorrow might be slightly clearer but there is a chance of the snow conditions continuing on and off through until Thursday - but nothing major. There might be more visibility out there. Friday looks like it might bring with it some clearer conditions, probably with colder conditions again.

It is currently -3 degrees in Hakuba.

Official snow depths and operations @ Monday 17th January PM:

Hakuba Goryu:
Now over 3m of snow reported at Goryu. Night time operations from 6pm until 9:30pm.
Alps daira - 320cm;
Toomi - 150cm;
Iimori - 130cm.

Hakuba 47:
The resort and park at the resort are fully open.
Snow depth (upper) - 218cm.

Happo-one:
All of the Happo-one slopes are now open and the report is now officially reporting 3m of snow on the upper slopes. Nakiyama nighta now operating.
Usagidaira/Kurobishi - 300cm;
Sakka - 180cm;
Shirakaba - 175cm;
Nakiyama - 175cm.

Tsugaike Kogen:
The Karamatsu nighta operations are now open.
Snow depth - 300cm
Maruyama area - 165cm
Champion - 210cm

Hakuba Iwatake:
All of the Iwatake resort is now open.
Upper - 160cm
Lower - 105cm

Hakuba Cortina:
All of the resort is currently open.
Upper - 350cm
Lower - 240cm

Hakuba Sanosaka:
All lifts at Sanosaka are now operating.

Hakuba Minekata:
150cm
