It was a beautiful day yesterday all day, right through until the sun went down. It was a fantastic day on the mountain.

Quite cold again overnight but things should warm up and be mild again during the day today and into low positive numbers.

Cloud is back this morning. Overcast start to the day with light snow falling now and forecast to do so on and off during the day. There's a slight southerly wind this morning but generally things feel calm and fairly mild.

Expecting potentially decent snowfall tonight and snowfall forecast through the rest of the week.

The coming weekend is looking like it will warm up, but let's deal with that in a few days time when hopefully it has changed for the better.

There are lots of people visiting at the moment to celebrate the Chinese New Year holidays - a warm hello to you all, and I hope that Hakuba delivers for you.
