No new snow to report this morning in Hakuba.

A fine weather day in Hakuba yesterday with blue skies and cloud hanging around the upper mountain areas. Wind did affect lift operations especially in the morning yesterday but Happo-one for example was able to open by mid morning.

It was a cold night, with temperatures dipping down to -7C, and this morning it is just under zero at 9am.

Quite a lot of thin cloud up there right now but blue sky as well and the sun is out. Should be another fine day and there's less wind so lift operations around the open resorts should be something like normal this morning.

More snow on the way later tomorrow with decent snowfall forecast for late in the week into Saturday.
