Good morning from Hakuba.

A fine day yesterday, thin cloud started forming around the middle of the day and eventually ended the day with overcast but bright conditions.

This morning the sun is out again, bit hazy to start off with but fine and sunny weather conditions are forecast for the day. And of course we are expecting temperatures to rise as well into double digits this afternoon.

The next few days still forecast to be a bit warmer still as those spring conditions take over from the winter we had last week. Look out for rain on Thursday, even up on the resort upper areas.

---

In some resort news, the Tsugaike Ropeway (along with the helicopter ski and snowboard service, I do believe) is now open for the spring season! They planned to have it open from Saturday but didn't due to all of the snow of last week and preparing things. But it's open now. For those of you who don't know, it's up at the top of the resort and only opens (for skiing/snowboarding) in the spring season.
