A wetter variety of snow fell during the day yesterday on mountain.

It was coming down pretty good at times during the afternoon with limited visibility at higher areas, but didn't amount to too much. This morning resorts around the valley are reporting varied amounts - from 0cm up to 15cm at Hakuba Cortina. No new snowfall here in the village to record.

This morning still a fair amount of cloud but right now as I type this there's some sunshine coming through my window and I can see a few patches of blue sky behind some of the cloud up there. Even if the clouds clear up somewhat, snow is likely to be falling by the end of the day today or from the early hours of tomorrow and forecasts tell us to expect snow to be falling during the day tomorrow.

Another decent amount of snow would be a great start to the weekend, so I hope I'll be able to report that tomorrow morning.
