Morning from Hakuba everyone.

It was another very cold night and it's another cold morning. Hakuba 47 are reporting -10C at base. Happo-one are reporting -14C at base Nakiyama. Cortina are reporting -8.6C at base. Cold! That is a good thing.

I have no fresh snow to report this morning - either from the ski resorts or observed myself. It is an overcast/cloudy early morning but there are good chances of clearer skies during the day.

Hopefully there will be some fresh snow on the slopes for early birds tomorrow morning and we do have light snow on the forecast for the day (tomorrow). And then probably some sunshine on Sunday and Monday and a milder spell due early week.

-----

There's a fun typo over on the official Tsugaike website this morning. They have an official snow depth of 3350cm at Han-no-ki. Now wouldn't that be fun!

Actually, come to think of it, that might just be too much. ;)

(I have mailed them to let them know. Everyone can make typos, and I am totally not mocking. I'm just imagining soooo much snow...!)
