Hello and good morning from Hakuba.

A very cold Hakuba. Overnight it was as cold as -15 degrees apparently and it's still down close to -10C. Very cold early on. It is due to warm right up to low positive numbers this afternoon though as we are in for another day of sun and blue skies.

Lovely clear afternoon yesterday, though I think most of us would give up some of them for a couple of days of deep dumpage! We can't control that though of course so we have to play in what we got.

So yes today, blue skies over the peaks, quite a bit of cloud over in the other direction again but clear conditions on the forecast.

Less of the temperature swings due into tomorrow with a mostly cloudy day forecast. It will get milder in time for the weekend but we do actually have snowfall due overnight into Saturday - a good refresh for the weekend would be just the ticket.
