Good morning from Hakuba.

Thin cloud developing to more generally overcast skies yesterday; I was able to enjoy a fine Sunday out there.

However, I don't bring exciting news this morning.

It's raining...

Hakuba 47 one hour ago was saying that rain was turning into snow on the upper areas, though apart from the upper areas of Tsugaike Kogen I can't see reports of snow from elsewhere right now.

Might it snow later/before tomorrow? Well, I will of course be sure to let you know tomorrow.

-----

The base Nakiyama North area at Happo-one is closed now and there are some restrictions on the base Shirakaba areas. I doubt that will affect many people though as surely most of us will be heading higher up anyway.
