A short report as not many words needed today for a change:

Hakuba Cortina is reporting 80cm (eighty) of fresh snow this morning and all of the major resorts reporting numbers above 50cm, there's been over 30cm down in the village too. Now this is more like it and what we expect!

I have to dispatch this report before lifts are open but there may well be disruptions this morning with the weather still doing it's big snow storm thing.

Just be extra careful out there with so much sudden snowfall and visibility - though it may well clear up mid day. Sun is expected tomorrow so it should be excellent, then we've got the strange warming up and rain still on the radar for the weekend.

For now though...... 80cm in one day! :)
