Yesterday was a real stunner with the sun out and blue skies for the whole day. The weather was so nice I was even happy lining up for lifts!

I was up early this morning and enjoyed a lovely sunrise, but since then things have quickly clouded over and it is mostly cloud-covered skies now above Hakuba, actually some quite dark looking clouds especially to the south.

We're probably best to expect some rain this afternoon with milder conditions - particularly at village and lower elevations - though hopefully that will be soon sleet and into snow, and potentially decent snow tomorrow too. So we should be able to forget and forgive if we do get some wet later today. Those clouds are looking like they are ready to give us something very soon actually...

I'll let you know what nature serves up tomorrow morning.
