Beautiful blue skies yesterday with some pristine groomed terrain to enjoy, and then some nice cold, dry powder to find on the sides and in the trees as well. Though we’ve only seen 3cm of fresh snow overnight, I have some better news — the main Gondola debuts this morning after its repairs. This means we now have access to the whole mountain, and plenty of fresh tracks still available I have no doubt, in the areas untouched due to lack of access.

Today we’re looking at clear skies for the most part, then a snow shower or two and tops of 2 degrees, with calm skies. As for the rest of the weekend, we’re meant to see a chance of a snow shower or two but nothing major, perhaps 10cm on Sunday into Monday, but It looks like the real snow is coming around Tuesday.

Sunday: snow showers, light to moderate winds, tops of -2C
Monday:snow showers, moderate winds, tops of -4C
Tuesday: light to heavy snow, strong winds, tops of -2C

All tree run areas are currently open. Please adhere to the resorts’ rules of access — you must wear a helmet when entering these runs, or risk the cancelling of your lift pass. Other important things include a charged and available mobile phone with an emergency contact number for the resort. Know your skill and ride accordingly.

Official snow depths:

Top: 450cm
Base: 310cm
