Good morning from a snowy Urabandai.

Everywhere is white this morning.

The snow is falling heavily and the visibility is very poor not only on the ski slopes but also in the town areas. 13cm of new snow has fallen in the base area of Grandeco but it is still falling, and it is quickly building up.

The strong winds that we had blowing things about yesterday have calmed down which is good. Not a fan of wind myself.

According to the forecast, the snow should stop falling sometime later today afternoon leaving us with just cloudy conditions.

Temps are keeping quite low, under -10C, with lovely soft powdery snow conditions.

It is a good day for skiing but be careful on your way to the ski hills. All the snowplough trucks are out in force and working hard on the roads and the visibility is very poor.
