Good morning.

It is another sunny morning with no wind. Nice clear views of the mountains surrounding the area.

It is also a good day for snowshoe trekking to Mt. Bandai from Urabandai ski ground. Urabandai ski ground operates three lifts - not only for skiers but also for the showshoes hikers. Please note that it will end the season on next Monday (25th) so the days when it is open after today will be 21st, 22nd, 23rd and 24th. These are the last chance to take the lift to hike up.

Grandeco, Nekoma and Minowa will continue the season until snow conditions allow - maybe until late April.

Most of the ski hills in the south part of Mt. Bandai will end the season around the end of this month.

Numajiri and Family Bandai Bandai had already ended the season.

It is quite sad to announce the upcoming end of the season but I will keep reporting about the remaining ski hills such as Grandeco, Nekoma and Minowa - so please keep reading!

---

The photos for today are from Nekoma (the first two) and Alts Bandai.

---

Nekoma - lift 4/5, course 11/11 open (open until there is enough snow)
