geeze, and I missed that. I made a huge mistake. Them niggas know their stuffing.

A friend got the new Prodigy best of the other day and I put it into vpod last night. I seem to either really love the sounds and beats they come up with or hate it (usually love it when there's no shouting going on!).

Dave Mathews and Maroon 05 in the car. I've been listening to Coltrain in the living room. The other day I had a blast from the past and listened to some Porno for pyros and Greatful Dead. I've also sat down to some Blondy and the Kinks recently. I'm in a weird mood....

I heard a few songs from the new Kate Bush CD last night. They were, to say the least, strange. Some of the lyrics if I was not mistaken were "washing machine, washing machine, washing machine" confused.gif

I'm interested to hear it all though.

I am not sure why, but I don't have chances to listen to songs of nowadays. Still listen to some old artists' songs e.g. ABBA, Carpenters, Olivia Newton John, Jon Dember, Glen Campbell, Julio Igrecias. Peri Como etc. (How many do you know? )

\:D

In this matter, I think I can never go ahead lol

When I was a student, I had no idea when old people never knew new songs but now I am said the same from kids.....

LOL Soubriquet, I guess perhaps we are in a same generation!

ABBA - sang their all songs in my sinior high / uni days.

Carpenters - it worked for me to improve my English pronounciation by just keep following.

Olivia Newton John - Guess probably worked how to pronounce continuous words together e.g. in "Water under the bridge", there's a phrase which says
" And I needed all the help I could get to set me on my feet again"
I have no idea how many times I almost bit my tongue with this phrase lol.

What's FWIW by the way?

About Kate Bushs new one, sounds very curious

"The second CD is devoted to a concept piece called A Sky of Honey in which virtually nothing happens, albeit very beautifully, with delicious string arrangements, hymnal piano chords, joyous choruses and bursts of flamenco guitar: the sun comes up, birds sing, Bush watches a pavement artist at work, it rains, Bush has a moonlight swim and watches the sun come up again. The pavement artist is played by Rolf Harris."

I got copies of Sunrise's CDs. Her new one, and a double CD + compilation. They are great. I really like the double CD of hers, which I belive is a live CD too. Very relaxing and was in my CD player all weekend.

If you have a chance, Id check out her stuff cool.gif
