mina2 6
I've got the new Bjork (Medulla) on in the car. It's pretty weird as you might expect but interesting. A bit sparse sounding, previous one was better.
scouser 4
Been given a copy of a cd by a band called "Dogs Die In Hot Cars". http://www.dogsdieinhotcars.com What a terrible name!, but on first listen sounds fairly interesting.
amandanism 0
yeah ive heard a bit of "dogs die..." interesting sound, quite upbeat and what not.
veronica 2
I kinda like some of the sounds that Bjork uses in her music, it's definitely 'different'. It's just her voice that can get so annoying very quickly.

kintaro 0
I've downloaded and am listening to Cat Stevens. When I saw him on the news being escorted off a plane in England b/c he was on a list of suspected terrorists (or whatever) banned from entering the US I wanted to hear what he sounded like. I had previously listened to "peace train" and liked it but didn't know the artists name. I saw him on a CNN interview recently. I like him. He seems like a pretty decent guy to me. Good music, interesting lyrics. He's a pretty spiritual dude. I see he's got a box set out now for sale. I think this publicity will help him...and if he truly has an evil agenda, it will help fund it...nice job Dept of Homeland Security!
damian 0
I was a serious Cat Stevens fan was I was younger. He has some very nice songs that both sound and feel good. I never really followed any of his Islamic life as back in 1987 the young db didn't really care what "Islam" meant. Two NY sky scrapers later and the whole world has it at the front of their mind. [censored]ed up planet. He has many wonderful songs. "Wild World" is beautiful. Pity I never had the chance to feel sad about a girl when I heard it, bitches the lot of them. More appropriate for me is his song "I Love My Dog". Both sets of lyrics below.... you get the picture Wild World: Now that I've lost everything to you You say you wanna start something new And it's breakin' my heart you're leavin' Baby, I'm grievin' But if you wanna leave, take good care I hope you have a lot of nice things to wear But then a lot of nice things turn bad out there Oh, baby, baby, it's a wild world It's hard to get by just upon a smile Oh, baby, baby, it's a wild world I'll always remember you like a child, girl You know I've seen a lot of what the world can do And it's breakin' my heart in two Because I never wanna see you a sad girl Don't be a bad girl But if you wanna leave, take good care I hope you make a lot of nice friends out there But just remember there's a lot of bad and beware Chorus Baby, I love you But if you wanna leave, take good care I hope you make a lot of nice friends out there But just remember there's a lot of bad and beware I Love My Dog: I love my dog as much as I love you But you may fade, my dog will always come through. All he asks from me is the food to give him strength All he ever needs is love and that he knows he'll get So, I love my dog as much as I love you But you may fade, my dog will always come through. All the pay I need comes shining through his eyes I don't need no cold water to make me realize that I love my dog as much as I love you But you may fade, my dog will always come through. Na, na, na, na, na, na, nana... I love my dog as much as I love you But you may fade, my dog will always come through. Na, na, na, na, na, na, nana... I love my dog, Baby, I love my dog. Na, na, na... I love my dog, Baby, I love my dog. Na, na, na...
kintaro 0
Wild World is excellent. Although it's been covered by everyone and their brother, it's an excellent song.
giggsy 0
I like Dogs Die In Hot Cars - shame about the completely shite name though.
BagOfCrisps 24
They're getting a fair bit of publicity because of that though probably the idea in the first place.
guzzlers-baps 0
I've been listenig to a few old Crowded House cds the last few days. They're Australian (?), right? Some good songs on there.

amandanism 0
jimmy eat world - futures. great album, possibly on par with "clarity" in my opinion.
kintaro 0
I paid an extremely rare visit to my local Virgian Records the other day and listened to Green Days newest. I liked it. I've also been listening to Usher recently. While Usher has been pretty easy to download the newest Green Day stuff is usually scrambled. I might just buy my first CD in years (as opposed to borrowing from freindly strangers willing to swap.)
nagoid 4
The new REM album is such a borefest, very disappointing. They need a good shake and/or to be put down immediately. I like Snow Patrol from what I've heard of them.
