amandanism 0
yeah, some people are claiming ash have turned "nu-metal-esque" which isnt entirely true judging by the lyrics. but it is a bit harder but still good fun. always been a fan of them and they are good at taking new directions. no album is quite the same. Ocean11 0
I've just discovered Krayzie Bone (I lifted up my stone for a bit). I started with that great track with Bob Marley and then went riffling through some other good stuff.
BagOfCrisps 24
Not really into Ash music. Happily into Charlotte Ash though.
Melina 0
I'm actually really disappointed in that new Ash, I don't think its their best at all.
DrMabuse 0
A friend of mine sent on some of the new U2 material. Sounds more angry than they've been for a while.

DumbStick 13
Disappointed with the new Cure album. I liked Bloodflowers (their last "last album" ) but this new one is a bit too much noize for me.
big-will 7
Is this you DrMabuse??? Did you take the U2 CD from The Edge? >> http://www.nme.com/news/109187.htm
brit-gob 9
Either doing it for hype or just a complete fool.
scouser 4
I was suspicious at first, but I've been listening to the Keane album the last few days, getting quite into it. Good for a change.
veronica 2
I've got my mits on the new Prodigy album. Only heard it a couple of times so far but I like it. One to listen to LOUD.
rach 1
So they actually got round to it then and released the thing? Next thing, you'll be telling us about the new Guns N Roses cd.
BagOfCrisps 24
New Prodigy with Juliette Lewis (yes, the actress) on vocals. Hmmm......haven't heard any of it yet. Any good?
cal 6
I like the Keane CD its really good.
snowboard_freak 0
I've been listening to a bit of a mix in the last month of so. The Dissociatives, Jurrasic 5, The Who and Franz Ferdinand have all been up there.
maoriboy 0
Yeah my mix of music includes some Dilated People, Franz Ferdinand, the new Prodigy album, Black Eyed Peas and a little of Count Baise and his big band orchestra. Jazz is good to relax to I reckon. Cant wait for the Tokyo Jazz festival.
Dims 0
And verdict on the new Prodigy album? Also did anyone catch Jurassic 5 live on their recent tour?
scouser 4
I heard one track with a big Thriller sample in it - very not sure about that idea.
sweetaz 0
GOMEZ!! (scots) Saw them recently here in nz. They were brilliant live. Very eclectic sound that keeps you on your toes. Don't really know what to category to put them in. I suppose it'd be rock-folk.
kintaro 0
I've been listening to a lot of Usher recently. Atlanta's got a lot of good stuff coming out of it these days. I've also been listening to some old Black Street stuff. I guess it's my R&B week. (last week all reggae..surfed a lot). As autumn approaches i'll get into more guitar'ish music. Anyone else have different musical cravings that coincide with the weather??
DumbStick 13
Yes, I was into Coldplay in winter but it just doesnt go with summer well. Ive been listening to a lot of "chillout" music the last few months.
amandanism 0
ive probably mentioned these two before but oh well, hawksley workman (wild voice, sort of operatic) and broken social scene (cant plug these guys enough)
scouser 4
Just going back to that Prodigy album - heard it quite a bit now and think its pretty crap, the last one is much better. I heard that Liam whatsizface scrapped a complete album and recorded this new one on his laptop or something...
veronica 2
I agree scouser, its not as good as "Fat". Some really good tracks on there but as the man himself says ( ), some filler as well.
maoriboy 0
yeah I agree that the new Prodigy album isnt anywhere near as good as the previous one. I think Ive listened to it a half dozen times and thats it. Its loud but lacks...personality, for want of a better word, compared with their previous work.
