Yes, it's quite expensive in HK, much more than what they would cost in the US or Canada and double the price of other donuts here. I wonder what they are charging in Japan for them.

Ah,duh, should have figured.

 

In Japan I always think in "roughly" in USD just by adding a decimal point. Seems a bit more difficult converting HKD. I guess the point would just go one space over leaving off the last number for a rough estimate.

Yeah, I always convert by saying 100yen is roughly 7HKD which is about 1USD.

So a beer outta a vending machine at 250 is HK$18 which is double the price in HK. But since I'm on hols, have to drink double my normal amount in HK.
