AET 0
It won an Oscar, you know. Has anyone seen it (either the original Japanese version or E version). It looks well wierd.
Ocean11 0
I've seen bits of it. It's just as you say. The story isn't particularly coherent as far as I can tell, it's just an amazing weird-fest.
meat 0
Defifitely worth it!
fukdane 2
It's pretty bizarre, but definitely worth a watch. Best in Japanese if you can understand enough.

phat 0
It's best watched after a high intake of alcohol. You can appreciate it then,
LiquidX 0
Are you talking about the E version? Sometimes a lot gets lost in the translation (including the atmoshpere perhaps?)
zwelgen 0
I never really get anime and Japanese films. I always find myself thinking "heh? why did they do that?". My lack of cultural sensitivity no doubt On another note aparently lots of Japanese people thought the same thing about Lord of the Rings. They just didnt get all the different characters, elves, dwarfs, ringwraiths, orcs etc. If youve ever seen anything about Japanese monsters youd understand how different they are, so I guess it depends a lot on the stories you were brought up with and what youre used to. Damn this is deep for my hungover brain
riddled-with-fun 0
I didn't get Spirited Away so well, it just seemed a bit too wierd. Very colorful though and some interesting creativeness going on.
enderzero 0
Sen to Chihiro is a beautiful movie. For those that haven't seen his movies, there is normal anime and then there are Miyazaki movies. They completely redefine anime and shouldn't be grouped with most of the trash that is out there. I highly recommend all of his movies (but not dubbed!). Check out La Puta for a really great movie.
