Depends on when i work. If i work for 9 hours a day then i can watch 5 or so, depends on length. Although its not really sitting down and watching them properly, more as background noise.

I probably sit down and watch about 2 movies tops a week, if that.

At about midnite, last night, what did I did just lying there on the top of my hi-fi and has probably been there more than a year? None other than a DVD (pirated copy) of the movie "Ocean's 11". Though into the wee hours of the morning and feeling quite tired, how could I resist not watching the namesake of my illustrious friend? Unfortunately, I have to report I was quite disappointed. The quality of the recording was quite poor, obvious done off a videocam at a cinema, so the audio included all the ambient sounds of the audience. Then the coup de grace was the disc ended obviously before the end of the movie, when Clooney was being taken away by the authorities for parole violate, having just successfully robbed the casino. So what happens? Did the guy get the gal and the money or did his buddies double cross. Don't tell me! I guess I have to buy an authentic disc of this damn movie now.

For some it is a pretty solid form of entertainment. While we all take up snow sports there are a lot of people who get the same joy from movies. It's just their thing.

Plus they are good for passing a couple of hours here and there.

But for most it is just another form of entertainment i think, like reading, or surfing the net etc
