white-void 0
My PC has just crashed (writing from another machine) and refuses to start up at all. Any ideas anyone, I just don't really know what to do! PS Comments from Mac users not welcome
klingon 10
Shout and curse. What, is it just dead? or do you get one of those foul DOS-looking blue pages with an error message on it?

enderzero 0
I might be able to help you, but you are gonna have to give me more than that. - When you turn it on, what do you hear? Beeps? (how many?) fans? Nothing at all? - Do you get anything at all on the screen? - What were you doing when it crashed? Did you get any error at all? - Does your PC run hot? Is it ever hot to the touch, placed near a heater, or have any new fans in it? - How old is the PC? - What are the specs? (CPU, MB, Ram, OS, Video) - OEM or home built? white-void 0
I've sorted it out, thanks. I've had to re-install everything (and lost quite a bit in the process). Thanks for the help.
DeepProbe 0
Aren't you used to it? Actually I'm finding my PC to be much more stable now with XP.
