barbarabara 0
Calendars always make good presents, although I feel that they come out quite late in Japan. If only I could find them before summer and take them home then.
alferg 0
In Sapporo we found these lovely screen-prints, with gold leaf kinda stuff on them, in one of those big department stores with a whole floor dedicated to stationary. They were about AUD$10 each - bargain! Gave a few to some friends who mustve thought they cost a bucketload & had them framed, so we did the same with a couple. they look fantastic - lovely artwork. slimeypete 0
I agree with that calendar one - an easy present from back home is a calendar. I usually pick up a bunch every time I get back home to bring back as presents.
LiquidX 0
They sound good alferg. We found some similar Japanese paper paintings that were fairly cheap, but when you get them framed back home they look really very expensive.
