brit-gob 9
I got into work today and all the Japanese are wishing themselves and everyone "Merry Christmas!" As in - TODAY is Christmas. The OL told me just now that all the decorations will be taken down tonight. And tomorrow will not be "Merry Christmas".
r45 4
Didn't you know? In Japan, the 24th is Kurisumasu.
woywoy 0
The Japanese only understand "Kurisumasu" ... buying ridiculously expensive presents only for your boy/girlfriend, eating KFC for some ridiculous reason and other equally stupid "christmas" traditions. Someday someone should teach them about "Christmas", not "Kurisumasu", and what it actually means! "Christmas" being the 25th whilst "Kurisumasu" being the 24th and effectively the "day before" Christmas, otherwise known as "Christmas EVE" for ****s sake!

BagOfCrisps 24
How did all this "eating the cake on the 24th" start then? I'm confused.
