my friend in Nz is one of 24 Kids - one mother.

 

and another friends mother is one of 26 kids - again one mother. (Both Maori families)

My catholic buddy is one of 11 kids.

 

Now they are some big families akibun, 6 is just a start ;\)

I'm not into thinking about kids myself, but whats wrong with 1? I don't see that as in the least bit unfair.

 

I have a friend who has 3 kids, all born in a period of just over 4 years. In their situation, the middle one seems to get a rough deal - he never got the attention that the 1st and 3rd one got, and has suffered from it.

I`m the middle one of three. Nothing wrong with me!!! Never felt left out either, always thought I had the best of both worlds.

 

Going on a limb here, but surely there is more (unfair) expectation if you`re the only one? Reckon my Mum would be far more agitated with me all the way over here if it wasn`t for my brother and sister getting married and producing little nippers already.
