scouser 4
Actually, I used to like Adam Ant as well. Very cool and he looked well 'ard in with those stripe things on his snozzer.
damian 0
Adam Ant was great. I really liked him. Man, that was seriously early 1980's. The UK seemed to dominate the music scene back then. Dont ask me to prove it though. AntMusic

rach 1
Adam Ant! Cool. Didn't he go a bit bonkers or something recently, poor chap...?
veronica 2
The album aha did about 4 years ago was really good (or most of it was anyway). Think it was called Major Sky Minor Earth or something like that. (And Morton was looking hot as well)
big-will 7
Ultravox. I was a bit scared by the nuclear threat of Standing with tears in my eyes (think thats what it was called)
enderzero 0
My first CD was Vanilla Ice's "To The Extreme." ...I had some posters too. I was a big Nelson fan when they were hot as well.
akibun 0
When young I liked Barry Manilow!
Thunderpants 0
Maybe Wrong tread, but must tell: My first LP was ABC's Lexicon Of Love, with The super crooner Martin Frye in front, recently i downloaded it, and have been playing it over and over on my friday night trips from home to snowland, it is still 100% cool..... Madness was my big thing too.. still cool. The Nelson picture is world class ATB Thunderpants Happiness can't buy you money (tom tom club)
bobby12 0
I liked a group called 'The Farmer Boys' who release one crappy single in the early 80s. Does anyone remember them???
brit-gob 9
I remember The Farm. They were scousers werent they? I have always had good taste, so no names to throw round here.

fukdane 2
When I was really young, I used to listen to Cliff Richard. I think it was my mums influence. Still have a soft spot for him.
scouser 4
Cliff is nothing to be embarrassed about. He's Cliff (with a capital C). Santas Song. Mistletoe and Wine. The Young Ones. All classics.
octopus-san 0
New Kids on the Block.
fukdane 2
I used to like Def Leppard too. Havent heard their stuff for ages though. There's tons of good stuff from the 80s though, most with nostalgic power. The problem with lots of that music is how dated it sounds because of the sounds they were experimenting with back then. (Cliff doesn't fall into that category of course - he's timeless)
big-will 7
Oh yeah, Go West. As well as their music being really great (lots of 80s synth noises explored), they wore some nice suits.
Ocean11 0
With mounting excitement I downloaded 'Echo Beach' by Martha and the Muffins, and 'Do you believe in the Westworld' by Theatre of Hate, remembering them as rather good songs. Ahem... they're crap.
merryJim 1
I liked Bronski Beat.
